1. Sponsor
The SpeakEZ Summit Referral Raffle ("Promotion") is sponsored by hireEZ, 2513 E Charleston Rd #200, Mountain View, CA 94043 ("Sponsor").
2. No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. Registration for SpeakEZ Summit is free.
3. Eligibility
Open to individuals who: (a) are 18 or older at time of entry; (b) are registered for SpeakEZ Summit with a valid business email address; and (c) reside in a jurisdiction where participation is lawful. Void where prohibited.
Not eligible to win: employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Sponsor; speakers, sponsors, and paid promotional partners of SpeakEZ Summit; and any individual whose participation would violate their employer's policies (see Section 10).
By submitting registrations, participants agree to be bound by these Official Terms & Conditions and hireEZ's decisions, which are binding and final on matters relating to the Promotion.
4. Promotion period
Entries may be earned from July 22, 2026 at 8:00 AM Central Time through August 27, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) Central Time (the "Entry Period"). Referrals recorded outside the Entry Period do not earn entries.
5. How to earn entries
Upon registering for SpeakEZ Summit at https://explore.hireez.com/speakez-summit-registration, each participant receives a unique referral link. Each Qualified Referral (Section 6) earns the participant one (1) entry into the Grand Prize Drawing and each participant may submit multiple Qualified Referrals. There is no minimum number of referrals required to be eligible for the drawing, and no maximum number of entries. Registration alone does not create an entry; entries are earned only through Qualified Referrals.
6. Qualified Referrals
A "Qualified Referral" is a new registration for SpeakEZ Summit that meets all of the following:
- Completed through the participant's unique referral link during the Entry Period;
- Made with a valid business email address (free consumer and disposable email domains do not qualify);
- Email address verified;
- A unique individual not previously registered; and
- Not the participant themselves (self-referrals do not count).
Attribution: first-touch — the first referral link a registrant uses is the one credited. Sponsor's internal records are the sole and final basis for entry counts.
7. Prizes and drawing
Grand Prize Drawing: Five (5) winners will each receive a $500 USD Amazon gift card. Approximate total retail value: $2,500 USD. Unless otherwise approved by hireEZ, no substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted.
Winners will be selected by random drawing from all entries, conducted live during SpeakEZ Summit (August 27–28, 2026), after the close of the Entry Period. Each entry is one chance; a participant's odds increase with their number of Qualified Referrals. No participant may win more than one Grand Prize. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.
Charity option: Any winner may decline their gift card and request that Sponsor instead make a donation of equal value, in the winner's honor, to a registered charitable organization of the winner's choosing, subject to Sponsor's confirmation of the organization's legitimacy.
This Grand Prize Drawing is separate from any other giveaways or mini-raffles conducted during SpeakEZ Summit, which are governed by their own rules.
8. Present to win
Winners must be logged into and attending the SpeakEZ Summit virtual event at the time of the drawing. If a selected entrant is not verifiably in attendance at the time their name is drawn, that selection is void and a replacement winner will be drawn immediately, repeating as necessary. Attendance is determined by Sponsor's event platform records at the time of the drawing, which are final.
9. Taxes
Prizes may constitute taxable income. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes. Sponsor may require tax documentation where required by law before fulfillment.
10. Employer policies
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring participation and prize acceptance comply with their employer's gift, ethics, procurement, and conflict-of-interest policies and any laws applicable to their role (including rules governing government employees). The charity option in Section 7 is available to any winner for whom accepting a gift card would be restricted. Sponsor is not responsible for consequences of a participant's violation of their employer's policies.
11. Prohibited conduct and disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify any participant or void any entries obtained through: fake, duplicate, or bot-generated registrations; false or disposable email addresses; spam or unlawful bulk distribution of referral links; misrepresentation of the Promotion, SpeakEZ Summit, or affiliation with Sponsor; or any conduct Sponsor reasonably determines to be fraudulent or abusive.
12. Winner notification
Winners will be announced live during SpeakEZ Summit and notified by email within five (5) business days. By participating, entrants consent to Sponsor announcing their first name, last initial, and company during the event and in related communications; entrants may opt out of public announcement by emailing shelbiewatts@hireez.com before the Entry Period ends without affecting eligibility. If a winner is found ineligible after the drawing, Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate drawn from remaining entries.
13. Privacy
Information collected is handled per Sponsor's Privacy Policy at https://app.hireez.com/policies/generalpolicy for marketing and promotional purposes. All registrations become property of the Sponsor and will not be returned to the participants. By submitting the registration, including the Qualified Referrals, each participant grants Sponsor the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, use, and create derivative work, in any media worldwide, now known or hereafter in perpetuity, the entry, the registration or the result, without limitation, the winner's name, likeness, or statements about the Sponsor or the Promotion without compensation or consideration. A participant further agrees to receive email newsletters from the Sponsor, and can opt out of receiving this communication at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting privacy@hireez.com.
14. General conditions
Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if fraud, technical failure, or other factors impair its integrity, and may conduct the drawing from valid entries received prior to such event. Sponsor's decisions are final. By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising out of participation or prize acceptance, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Governing law
These Official Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California of the United States, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Promotion, a participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Northern California having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will a participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees.
